3. Resilience Academy Updates 🌼

The Resilience Academy hosted its first two Open Houses in April and May.

The Eco-Anxiety series kicked off on May 9th, and we've been getting fantastic feedback from the community! Participants have called these spaces "pure medicine" with nourishing, raw, honest, and healing discussions. Topics discussed have ranged from Eco-anxiety 101, Ecological grief and Doomerism, and the role of active hope and positive psychology in navigating eco-anxiety and eco-emotions.

The eco-anxiety series will resume in June with a surprise topic. So don’t forget to follow All for Climate DAO on Twitter (@all4climatedao) to tune into the last episode of this educational series. There will also be a new series starting in June.

@Day also hosted an impactful Twitter space on activism, burnout prevention and recovery. Stay tuned for Part 2 of this important topic!

The Resilience Academy is also in the process of finalizing the dates for 2 new engaging online workshops. One will focus on harnessing the power of art for emotional expression in response to the ecological crisis. Another will focus on providing guidance for families and sharing practical tools and strategies to support children and youth during the ecological crisis. These interactive workshops will provide valuable techniques and guidance on navigating various eco-emotions, so whether you are a parent, grandparent, uncle, aunt, brother, or sister, these workshops are specifically designed for you!

@Day, the head of the Resilience Academy, has been sharing valuable resources in the Wellness Hub of our discord channel.

Make sure to visit the Wellness Hub to check out the resources and stay in the loop about upcoming dates and events!

4. Climate for All is ready for your support 🫢🏾

Remember that new project called "Climate for All" (yes, by... All for Climate) that we announced a couple of emails ago? Well, the project now has its own website and a dedicated collective (obviously hosted fiscally by All for Climate)!

In case you need a refresher, Climate for All is an ambitious project aimed at developing innovative educational games to enhance the skills of young adults and youth workers in sustainability and climate action. By promoting cooperation among European NGOs, municipalities, and schools, the project seeks to positively impact both the environment and the target groups involved.

Do you find this exciting? We sure do! Check out the project's website on climate4all.org, or donate to the Climate for All collective!

5. Video of the month πŸŽ₯

This impactful video, titled "The Great Pacific Garbage Patch Is Not What You Think It Is | The Swim. πŸŠβ€β™€οΈ

This short video focuses on the alarming impact of microplastic fibres on the environment and human health. It highlights Henderson Island, a small, uninhabited Pacific island with over 37 million pieces of debris, making it one of the world's most polluted places. 🏭

The video raises questions about the origins of this massive trash accumulation and the challenges in studying and addressing the issue. It emphasizes the urgent need for action and solutions to combat ocean plastic pollution, with insights into its effects on marine life, human health, and food security. The video also features Ben Lecomte's historic swim across the Pacific, aimed at raising awareness for ocean health. Through its concise and impactful approach, the video aims to educate and inspire viewers to take action to preserve our oceans. 🌊
