1. In the spotlight: collective Futuro Vegetal πͺ΄
Meet the passionate activists of Futuro Vegetal in Spain, a collective that recently joined All for Climate and got very active in no time because of funding from the Climate Emergency Fund.
π―Their goal? Stopping all subsidies for livestock farming in Spain and instead directing the money towards socially and ecologically responsible plant-based alternatives.
π₯Their methods? High-intensity non-violent civil disobedience
The activists of Futuro Vegetal know what they are after; a world free of animal, human, and environmental exploitation.
Inspired by the theories of Roger Hallam and Andreas Malm, and motivated by a growing sense of responsibility, they decided to get organised in Spain, one of the European regions hit hardest by the Climate Crisis.
Since the start of their campaign, the collective has multiplied the number of activists and made a significant impact in the media and on social networks. The government has even put a limit on industrial farming. But they're not stopping there!
They focus on engaging with local communities and governments by teaming up with local resistance movements at the state and local levels. The activists give tours around the territory where they talk about the climate situation and its relation to the livestock industry, and they also provide workshops on civil disobedience.
FACT OF THE DAY: The collective has recently faced intense police repression and has even been infiltrated by government agents. Whilst this may sound scary, it hasn't stopped this AMAZING collective from continuing and creating more significant impacts.
How can you help? π€ What does Futuro Vegetal need from you? They need your participation in their civil disobedience campaign, resistance box, and social media support (@FuturoVegetal).
Where to follow them? Visit their website and follow them on social media to learn more about their mission and how you can get involved. Let's work together to create a brighter future for all! β‘οΈ

4. The All for Climate Academies
ππΌ Harvesting Wisdom #1 - Fundraising for collectives!
The All for Climate Academies are here to foster peer support among our members and collectives. Learning from each other can be almost magical, and All for Climate ensures this happens through its Academies. Our Harvesting Wisdom series is a way to facilitate just that! The first session in our new series is on the topic of fundraising. πΈ
Time: Thursday, April 6th, 20:00 CEST
Location: All for Climate zoom - please register ππΎ to receive the link
Topic: Grant writing
In the first edition of Harvesting Wisdom, we will speak about fundraising through grants, and more specifically the opportunities presented by EU mobility grants like Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps. This is also related to our first Erasmus+ application!
All wisdom harvested will, of course, be shared afterwards if you can't make it to the call! But if you can join, you can ask your questions to experts from our collectives, live.
5. All for Climate submitted its first Erasmus+ application!
Erasmus+ is the EU's programme to support education, training, youth and sport in Europe. It gives millions of young adults, educators and youth workers every year the opportunity to collaborate across borders and travel as part of projects that aim at developing skills, gaining knowledge and getting a sense of European citizenship in practice.
One of the top priorities of the European Union for the Erasmus+ programme is "Environment and fight against climate change: the Programme aims to support, across all sectors, awareness-raising about the green transition, environmental and climate-change challenges." This looked like the most appropriate one for All for Climate, so in collaboration with our partner organisations for this project Nausika, Zavod EREA, Selkie, and the International Youth Work Trainers Guild, we came up with the most playful possible project!
In the next 3 years, if our application is approved, we will be crafting games of various types (board games, LARP adventures, tabletop RPGs, card games, and more) that are built with the aim of developing specific competencies among those who play them, as laid out in the GreenComp framework. The target group of our games are young people all over Europe and beyond, and a big part of the project has to do with training facilitators on how to use our games with young people in order to develop those competencies.
But it doesn't stop there. The biggest aim of our project comes at the last part of it, which is expanding beyond the networks of our partner organisations and across the globe! On the one hand, our partner organisations will be collaborating with municipalities and schools locally in order to keep hosting events with our games for local youth. On the other hand, we really want to go global with this project, and this is where our beloved collectives come in! An online training toolkit developed through the project will ensure aspiring facilitators have all the know-how required to host events for their local youth using our games, as well as how to get their events funded, empowering our collectives with an innovative tool to fight for climate justice!
Excited? So are we! Hop on to our discord server and start making some noise on the climate-for-all-public channel! Because, yes, we named our project "Climate for All" by... All for Climate!
Please subscribe to our newsletter to learn more about the awesome work people are doing and to keep up to date with the latest All for Climate information.
