- Collective size and scope
If you're interested in contributing to All for Climate in this meaningful way, please fill out this short questionnaire to complete your application. Please note that joining the Board will require sharing some personal information, including a copy of your ID or passport, in line with legal and transparency requirements.
We look forward to hearing from you, and thank you for your dedication to the movement!
⚠️Deadline 24/11/2025
3.Questionnaire time - We Want to Hear From You!🎤
All For Climate would like to ask you a few questions about your collective—its activities, characteristics, and how you use our services. Your input will help us:
- Improve our support and better meet your needs
- Involve you more closely in shaping our services
- Most importantly, better understand your impact
Funders often ask us about the impact of the collectives we host, but this information isn’t captured through our platform. Your responses are essential for sharing these stories and data.
The survey takes 5–10 minutes to complete, is confidential, and hosted on EUSurvey, a European Commission tool that protects data under GDPR rules. No personal data is requested. It’s available in English, French, Spanish, and German.
Please share the survey with your other admins—All For Climate truly values your feedback. We also welcome your questions, needs, or comments in the survey, which will help shape future services. A summary of the findings will be shared in an upcoming newsletter!
Complete the survey here: https://ec.europa.eu/eusurvey/runner/allforclimatesurvey
4.Winter break đź’š
All For Climate will be taking a much needed break from 22/12/2025 to 04/01/2026.
This means:
- No expenses will be processed in this period. Make sure to submit your claims before that. Friday 19/12 is the last day expenses will be processed.
- No manual donation will be processed. Automatic ones still go through!
- No e-mails will be answered. Ask your questions beforehand.
- No meetings will take place. Plan them ahead.
- No grant applications will be evaluated and/or signed.
We will be fully operational again from Monday 05/01/2025 onwards.
Thank you all for understanding and we look forward to creating more impact together!
5.Dispute fees - What They Are and How We Handle Them 🛡️
Sometimes, a donor makes a contribution and later contests it—not directly with us, but through their credit card provider, Stripe, or PayPal. These cases are called disputes. Most often, they happen when someone intended to make a one-time donation but accidentally subscribed to a monthly plan. When a dispute is filed, we receive a notification and must respond with all relevant information, including our refund policy, and we also try to contact the donor directly to clarify the situation. Despite our efforts, we occasionally lose the case, which means the donor is refunded and All for Climate must pay an additional dispute fee of €15–€20 per case, on top of the refund processing costs.
Since these expenses are linked to a specific collective, the A4C board sees it fit that the collective involved in the dispute will cover the related dispute fee. Going forward, we’ll reach out to the affected collective as soon as a dispute is received, so we can coordinate the response together. To help avoid disputes in the future, we encourage all collectives to remind their donors about the difference between one-time and monthly donations. Clear communication can save everyone unnecessary hassle and fees!
6.Reminder: Up to 15 receipts per expense đź’°
Just a quick reminder that you can include up to 15 tickets, receipts, or other proofs under a single expense claim.
There’s no need to create a separate expense for every small supermarket receipt or train ticket — grouping them together will save you time and help us reduce processing costs.
Starting in 2026, Open Collective will charge us based on the number of expenses processed, so keeping them consolidated makes a real difference.
Please also remind your volunteers to follow this rule.
Thank you for helping us make our collective’s accounting more efficient! 🙏
Thank you for catching up with us in this month’s newsletter. As we approach the end of the year, we remain focused on our mission and the steps we can take together. 💚🌍
